If you’re like me, you probably spend half your free time online (obsessively) searching for new recipes, Googling useful kitchen tip/how-tos, Kayak-ing for good flight deals, and/or simply drooling over professionally photographed food.  Below I’ve compiled some of my favorite sites that may hopefully prove to be of use to you too.  Call it inspiration, or an obsession.

  • Smitten Kitchen – the site that started it all. Deb Perelman makes magic happen; her recipes are easy to replicate and she’s never steered me wrong.
  • Manger – a beautiful blog full of recipes (leaning towards French-inspired) by Mimi Thorisson.  The photographs of her kitchen/recipes and of her surroundings in Médoc, France are breathtaking.
  • Bon Appétit – I love receiving my physical copy of Bon Appétit every month; I know it’s old fashioned but I prefer it over the digital subscription.  There’s something comforting about being able to flip through the magazine and dreamily stare at all the food.
